Real will provide its listeners across Wales with regular, in-depth updates on events, a special and exclusive National Eisteddfod 2010 micro website at www.realradio.co.uk, and high brand profile across the whole of the event with The Real Patrol out in the crowds giving away lots of fantastic goodies to festival goers.
Tony Dowling, Station Director at Real Radio said;
“This is a wonderful event for us to be associated with. The Eisteddfod is not only the ultimate expression of Welsh tradition but a brilliant occasion. It’s great to be at Ebbw Vale for the first time in over half a century and we think that Real Radio, the biggest commercial radio station in Wales, is the perfect official commercial radio partner.”
National Eisteddfod Chief Executive, Elfed Roberts, added:
“We are delighted to be working with Real Radio this year. The station’s reach across the whole of South and West Wales makes them a perfect partner for promoting the National Eisteddfod.
“The preparations for this year’s festival is going well, and our partnership with Real Radio will help us to reach families and visitors across the region, to encourage them to attend a festival which has something for everyone – whatever their age.”
